| Contests for teams of students in each of grades 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Sample problems are provided onsite, along with current contest standings. Problems range from those most students should be able to solve independently to complex, multi-step problems that require higher-level thinking. Basic story problems, patterns, money, geometry, number concepts, and puzzles are included. The basic cost for grades 4, 5, or 6 or the Math & Logic Challenge for the 1998-99 school year is $57.50, which includes blackline contest masters and teachers' pages for each of the five contests (October, November, January, February, and March), newsletters reporting scores, and certificates for winners. | |
