| MathsNet is a collection of pages about mathematics education, information technology, the Internet, and "some straightforward 'sums'." Tips and downloads for logo, spreadsheets and graphs, winlogo, excel, omnigraph, and graphing calculators such as the Sharp EL9600 and the Texas Instruments TI-83. Also, articles such as software reviews, descriptions of math education sites and mailing lists, daily facts, and daily puzzles. Software to download includes Mental tests, Windows shareware for practicing mental arithmetic. Animations include Aerobi-graphs, which links a physical activity with an aspect of graphs and their transformations. Interactive resources employ VRML, Java, JavaScript or mouseovers to cover algebra and graphs, spreadsheets, and geometry. | |
